The exterior of the jacket is made from a refined lightweight 4-way-stretch textile made especially for Mission Workshop by Mectex M.I.S. in Como, Italy. It features a matte finish and soft hand with next-generation "Dynamic Durable Water-Repellent" (D.DWR) finish for use in drizzle and light rain. D.DWR was originally developed for Olympic swimmers to keep their suits from absorbing water weight during competition, and lasts up to twice as long as traditional DWR finishes.
